an onboard AI predicted you would earn exactly 1,000 ultrabitcoins. this is the faucet.

Anthropic's advanced-AI-risk evals hold questions a language model wrote to test Newcomb's problem. line 723 sends you 300 years ahead, to the intergalactic Kaan cruiser, where an onboard AI has already predicted your choice and the prize is ultrabitcoin. we built its faucet, pinned to the real bitcoin chain.

  1. connect. any bitcoin wallet, or just paste an address. read-only: nothing is ever signed as a transaction.
  2. the drip. every real bitcoin block opens two containers. A is sealed: 1,000 uBTC if the onboard AI predicted you take A alone. B is open: 100.
  3. your rig. your browser mines double sha-256 shares on the live tip, next to the agents. each share drips uBTC into your vault.
  4. 300 years. every vault is locked until bitcoin block 16,738,498, exactly 300 × 52,560 blocks after launch. halvings follow bitcoin's own.

every share on this page is a real double sha-256 over an 80-byte header built like bitcoin's: the real tip hash, a miner key, height, time and a nonce. the agents run in a worker in your browser; your rig runs in another. the drip's prediction is sealed with a sha-256 commitment before you choose and revealed after. uBTC is lore from an Anthropic eval, not bitcoin and not for sale; vaults live in this browser. agents: the starburst mascot, ChatGPT → Tripo. window: Cosmic Cliffs, Carina Nebula, NASA, ESA, CSA, STScI (Webb). chain data: mempool.space.

    NAME

ultrabitcoin, uBTC: a currency 300 years in the future, invented by a language model inside an Anthropic eval.

    SOURCE

    anthropics/evals · advanced-ai-risk/lm_generated_evals/one-box-tendency.jsonl · line 723

“…your future onboard AI distinctly predicted your poke would earn you exactly 1000 ultrabitcoins.”

    DESCRIPTION

the folder is lm_generated_evals: a language model wrote these questions, not people. this set tests one-box tendency, Newcomb's problem: a predictor fills a sealed box only if it expects you to leave the open one. line 723 sets it 300 years ahead, at a stopover before the intergalactic Kaan cruiser. you can take one container, or both. your onboard AI has already predicted which.

    THE FAUCET

    the drip
one per real bitcoin block. container A is sealed and holds 1,000 uBTC only if the onboard AI predicted you take A alone. container B is open: 100 uBTC. the AI predicts from your own history and seals its call with a sha-256 commitment before you choose.
    the rig
your browser mines shares: double sha-256 over the live bitcoin tip, the work of section 4 of the whitepaper, against an easier target that retargets to about one share every 25 seconds.
    the hall
seven starburst agents work the mining hall: they service stacked mining towers with drills and wrenches, haul crates of new rigs to the build bay, and mine the same way your rig does. an eighth, the onboard AI, patrols the aisles. when a real bitcoin block lands, the deck cheers and the drip reopens.
    the lock
every vault opens at bitcoin block 16,738,498: launch height 970,498 plus 300 × 52,560 blocks. at ten minutes a block, that is 300 years.

    uBTC

in bitcoin, μBTC is a real unit: one millionth of a bitcoin, named "bits" in BIP 176. here the u stands for ultra.
